Employee to Entrepreneur Transiton Coach, Brand Visibility, Personal Branding, Online Business Coaching, Brand messaging and content creation
During the last big recession, I found myself without a job.
I had not planned to become an entrepreneur, but after spending time at home while planning my next job search, I spent more time with my children. It was then that I realized how much of their lives I was missing, and I wanted to find a way to be able to continue to spend time with them rather than only seeing them for a short time in the morning and evening. That's when I decided to start my own business, where I controlled when I worked and where I worked.
Starting a business and having success was easier said than done. I knew marketing, but I didn't know about running a business. I took for granted all the other essential aspects of a successful business, and I struggled.
Realizing that if I didn't get help, it would mean that I would have to find another J-O-B. That was not an option I was willing to take. I enjoyed working with the clients I chose, having better work/life balance, and spending more time with my family.
Thankfully, I was able to learn from business experts and hired a coach. I turned a failing business around and started making a profit.
We are now celebrating over ten years in business.
