Female entrepreneur seeking a “Gill” of all trades. ~ I started a Natural Snack Food Company last year while on maternity leave and it’s been on hold while I’ve gone back to work. Things have settled down and I’m looking to get things rolling again. I have an immediate need for administrative assistance with backend functions as described below. Check out my website and my story.


The ideal situation would be 2-­‐3 hrs/day during Monday – Friday. The Role would include daily administrative functions including, but not limited to: .

  • Manage info@bitemefoods.ca account (incoming inquiries from website & administrative)
  • Manage orders from bitemefoods.ca (shopping cart, order logistics, shipping)
  • Schedule production of energy balls (personnel bookings, package ordering, kitchen calendar, ingredient ordering, logistics, coordination)

We are a small company hoping to grow quickly which could mean opportunities for you to grow with us. Future projects could include :

  1. Sales & Business Development (Farmer’s Market Coordination, Retail Store visibility,
  2. Social Media Management (content curation, vendor procurement, vendor coordination, platform management)
  3. Human Resources (policy creation, vendor procurement, vendor coordination)



University or College Education Required


  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and office management
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office management software Qualifications in Business, Sales/Marketing, or Accounting will be an advantage
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage, Grocery, Consumer Packaged Goods, Natural Products, or Retail industries will be a bonus
