In the BASF Group, the global proportion of female leaders with disciplinary responsibility was 19.8% at the end of 2016 (2015: 19.5%). We aim to increase this figure to 22–24% worldwide by 2021, so that the proportion of women in leadership reflects that of women in the global company workforce.

In Canada our numbers are already close to the 2021 global goal at 21% of women occupying Management Roles.

After spending most of my career with BASF in Europe, I decided to take an exciting opportunity with BASF in Canada. Now, here we are in the Greater Toronto Area with our two children and experiencing a whole new culture as a family.
